Keep inventory and order work connected
When products move between a warehouse, a store and an online sales channel, each team needs a clear record of what happened and what must happen next. Before choosing a system, map those handovers and the information needed at each one.
Start with identifiable products
Check how your team identifies each product and variant. SKU and barcode records help the team find the right item. Review receiving, location stock and stock counts together, rather than treating each spreadsheet as a separate source of truth.
For a transfer, agree which location dispatches the goods, which location receives them and how the received quantity is recorded. A visible transfer record makes outstanding work easier to follow.
Follow the next action on each order
An order may involve preparation, a dispatch location, one or more parcels and a shipment label. Map the steps your own team actually uses. When only part of an order can be sent, keep the remaining work visible instead of treating the whole order as finished.
The ELTA360 inventory and order workflows overview shows the operational areas to discuss in a demo. Confirm each required integration and workflow for your business before committing to a setup.
Connect physical stores and online work
Review how store sales, returns and transfers affect stock records. Identify who checks an exception, who is allowed to change a record and which team follows up. Clear responsibilities matter as much as the software screen.
Check the scope together
Bring a sample product, an ordinary order, a partial dispatch and a return to your requirements discussion. Explain which sales platforms and service providers you use. The appropriate setup depends on those actual needs; this guide does not promise that every external platform or automation is included.
